Thread Lifting

About Thread Lifting

The effects typically last around 10–12 months, depending on the individual.

SIA Clinic performs thread lifting using safe, absorbable PDO threads approved by the KFDA. These medical-grade sutures are highly biocompatible and are also used in ophthalmic surgeries and pediatric cardiac procedures. They gradually dissolve over approximately six months while helping to stimulate collagen production.
General Precautions
  • To prevent infection, avoid excessive alcohol, smoking, saunas, or strenuous exercise for one week after the procedure.
  • Swelling may increase 2–3 days post-treatment compared to the day of the procedure, and minor bruising may occur, but this typically subsides within 1–2 weeks.
  • You may feel some foreign body sensation after the procedure.
  • Avoid pressing on the treatment area, wearing hats, glasses, facial massages, lifting treatments, or sleeping positions that could alter the treatment results. Do not touch the treated area to prevent deformation.
  • To prevent infection and inflammation, antibiotics will be prescribed. Be sure to take them according to the instructions.
  • If you experience severe pain, fever, skin discoloration, or blistering within a few days after the procedure, please contact and visit SIA Clinic immediately.
  • The DuoDERM applied to the treated area should be kept in place for at least one week to protect the skin from water and sun exposure. If it comes off, please purchase DuoDERM at a pharmacy and reapply it.

Filler

General Precautions
  • To prevent inflammation, avoid excessive alcohol, smoking, saunas, or strenuous exercise for one week after the procedure.
  • Embossing (bumps), bruising, and swelling may occur but typically subside within 1–2 weeks. Asymmetry may temporarily appear due to swelling differences but will even out as swelling resolves.
  • After filler treatment, avoid pressing or massaging the treated area for 2–4 weeks.
  • Avoid lying face-down or applying excessive pressure to the treated area while sleeping.
  • If you experience severe pain, skin discoloration, or vision changes, please contact and visit SIA Clinic immediately.

  • Please avoid resting your chin on your hand for approximately 2 weeks after the procedure.

  • When sleeping, please be careful to avoid putting pressure on the treated area.
Wrinkle Filler

Neck Wrinkle Filler

  • When using your smartphone or reading, please hold it at eye level.
  • Please avoid sleeping face down or using pillows that are too high.
  • Poor posture may cause the treatment results to diminish more quickly.

Forehead Wrinkle Filler

  • After the procedure, please avoid the habit of excessively raising your eyebrows for a period of time.
  • Please avoid wearing items that apply pressure to the forehead, such as hats or helmets, for 1–2 weeks.
  • Excessive facial movement or pressure may reduce the longevity of the results.

Botox

About Botox

The effects of Botox usually begin to appear within 1–2 weeks, with maximum results visible in 4–6 weeks. To maintain optimal results, re-treatment is recommended every 4–5 months.

General Precautions
  • To prevent inflammation, avoid excessive alcohol, smoking, saunas, massages, or strenuous exercise for one week after the procedure.
  • Bruising or swelling may occur but typically subsides within 1–2 weeks.

After Botox treatment for palm hyperhidrosis, grip strength may be slightly reduced, and fine motor movements of the fingers may feel awkward for a few days.
Salivary Glands Botox
After salivary gland Botox, you may experience dry mouth. Be sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
Anti-Wrinkle Botox
If you normally use your forehead muscles a lot when opening your eyes, you may feel heaviness or discomfort after forehead Botox treatment. Avoid making frowning expressions after Botox treatment on the crow’s feet, glabella, or nose bridge.
Body Botox
After calf or thigh Botox, you may feel numbness or weakness in your legs 2–4 weeks after treatment. Take extra caution when wearing high heels, climbing stairs, exercising, or driving. If these symptoms occur, it is recommended to wear sneakers and refrain from driving.

After trapezius or arm Botox, avoid carrying heavy items or consistently holding bags on one shoulder.

With frequent use of the muscles after body Botox treatment, compensatory growth of surrounding muscles may occur.

Skin Botox
Embossing (raised bumps) may occur after treatment but will subside within a few days.

Collagen / Skin Boosters

General Precautions

For sustained results, three or more treatments at 3–4 week intervals are recommended.

  • To prevent inflammation, avoid excessive alcohol, smoking, saunas, or strenuous exercise for one week after the procedure.

  • Avoid massaging the treatment area or using scrubs, exfoliants, or other stimulating treatments.
  • To prevent dryness, apply moisturizer and regeneration cream frequently, and always use sunscreen when going outdoors.

General Precautions

For lasting results, 5–10 treatments at 3–4 week intervals are recommended. After hair removal, the treated hairs will naturally shed over 1–2 weeks.

  • Post-treatment, you may experience stinging, redness, burning, warmth, blisters, itching, hives, oozing, inflammation, infection, acne, bleeding, or hyperpigmentation. Allergic reactions due to individual constitutions may also occur.
  • To prevent inflammation, avoid strenuous exercise that causes excessive sweating, saunas, swimming pools, or hot baths for one week after the procedure.
  • Avoid exposing the treated area to direct sunlight. Apply sunscreen to the treated area when going outdoors.
  • If shaving is necessary, use an electric shaver instead of a razor. Avoid waxing or plucking before and after the procedure.

  • Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation may develop at the treated area.
Ethosome Gold PTT
  • After the procedure, temporary breakouts or small bumps may appear. This is a normal reaction caused by the release of sebum that had accumulated beneath the skin, and in most cases, it improves naturally over time.

  • Avoid massaging the treatment area or using scrubs or exfoliants.

  • You may experience menstrual irregularities or breakthrough bleeding, but these are temporary symptoms that will normalize over time.
  • For better results, maintaining a balanced diet and regular exercise, as well as drinking plenty of water, is recommended.
  • Depending on the amount of fat, individual results may vary. At least three treatments are recommended for optimal results.
Facial Fat-Dissolving Injection
  • Please gently massage the injection area starting 10–15 minutes after the procedure.
  • Rubbing the area too forcefully may cause bruising.
Body Fat-Dissolving Injection
  • Gently massaging the treated area starting 10–15 minutes after the procedure may help improve the results.
  • If a larger amount is administered, you may temporarily experience dizziness or stomach discomfort. If symptoms occur, please rest in the waiting area, drink lukewarm water, and return home after you feel better.
  • The applied DuoDERM dressing can be removed after 1–2 days.
DCA Injection
You may experience pain, swelling, and bruising after the treatment, but these symptoms will gradually subside. Be aware that swelling may persist for over a week due to the fat cell destruction caused by DCA (Deoxycholic Acid). Avoid saunas, hot baths, or any high-temperature stimuli after the procedure.
Body Shaping — General Precautions
  • You may experience warmth, redness, tingling, or dryness after treatment, but these symptoms typically subside within a week.
  • Temporary skin tenderness, swelling, bruising, or redness may occur depending on individual factors, but these symptoms usually resolve within 1–2 weeks.
  • Avoid using scrubs or exfoliants that may irritate the skin. Moisturize well, as your skin may feel dry.

  • If the DuoDERM dressing comes off, please purchase a replacement at a pharmacy and reapply it to the treated area.
PicoSure Tattoo Removal
  • Repeated treatments at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks are recommended.
  • The gauze applied may be removed on the same day. Please apply the prescribed ointment twice daily, morning and evening, for approximately three days.
  • Blistering may occur if the tattooed area is extensive. This is usually a normal reaction. Do not pop the blisters and contact SIA Clinic if concerned.
